| At 09 hours 40 minutes and 43 seconds local time (1240 GMT) this Wednesday 14th November 2007,. Groupama 2, crossed the finish
line in the bay of Salvador de Bahia as winner of this eight edition of the Transat Jacques Vabre. A truly exceptional performance
for Team Groupama in more ways than one.

Leading since the 4th day out, Franck Cammas and Stève Ravussin constantly had the pedal to the metal from 6th November, combining
daily averages of between 16 and 21 knots. Only the Doldrums was negotiated at lower speed as a result of conditions alternating
between squalls and gales.
With this 4th victory of the year, Groupama 2 take victory in the ORMA 2007 championship,
which he has won for the fifth time in eight years of participation. Another new record!
Our two sailors also set
a new race record with a time of 10 days 38 minutes and 43 seconds. Gitana 11 should take second place and Banque Populaire
third.
