Gaël is one of the pillars of Team GroupamaGaël joined Team Groupama in 2000, after an already flourishing career, covering every ocean along with renowned sailors:
Mike Birch, Philippe Poupon, Florence Arthaud, Loïck Peyron. Gaël counts two round the world races to his credit!
In
2002, he left his foulweather gear aside to use his considerable experience and knowledge helping in boat preparation.
At
the end of last year, Gaël shared his time between Lorient, where he is responsible for purchasing, and Vannes, where the
maxi trimaran Groupama 3 was being built. Reserved, always available, he is Team Groupama wise man.

is a rock and roll fan and likes to play guitar.
