Mister calculation

Loïc joined the team in 2001. A graduated of naval architecture, he has collaborated with the cabinet Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost, architects of Groupama trimarans.
His role within the team is the in-house architecture. Thus, he designs and calculates specific parts of the trimarans which will be then produced by Jean-Marc Normant. This depth of experience is fundamental to Team Groupama, giving them certain autonomy, as well as allowing them to maintain confidentiality. After having actively contributed to research and design that went into the build of Groupama 2, Loïc went back to working on the Groupama 3 project. Riveted to his computer and in permanent contact with both the architect and the boatyard, Loïc estimates, calculates, extrapolates... Always researching the detail which will make a difference!

Aside, Loïc appreciates the beauty, and as such likes to be around the classic yachts at events like the Americas Cup Jubilee Regattas or the Nioulargue.
