One of the 3 « southerners » of the Groupama crewThierry discovered multihulls in 2002 after excelling in Match-Racing and on the Tour de France à la Voile. He has also taken
part in the 2000 America's Cup on board the Défi Français.
Following two seasons with Karine Fauconnier, Thierry
joined the Groupama crew in 2003. Downwind trimmer during the Grand Prix, the Marseille sailor participated in the faultless
performance of Groupama 2 on a three-mark course for the last two seasons.
Member of the Défi Suedois (Swedish team)
for the 2007 America's Cup, Thierry is freshly arrived from Valencia to rejoin his post on Groupama 2.
When his time-table
allows it, he sails on Farr 40 and Swan. He is also advisor to the town of Marseille for nautical events in the region.
