For their first official competition, Franck Cammas and his crew covered the 320 mile course in 1 day 06 hours and 20 minutes
at an average speed of 11.8 knots, a total of 45 minutes ahead of Armel Le Cléac'h, the skipper of the first 60 foot Imoca.

The only boat in its category, Groupama 70 had to battle it out with some of the fastest monohulls around. Franck Cammas and
his crew certainly pulled off a great performance with their VOR 70, in the colours of Groupama, showing off its potential
as an offshore racer despite the mild conditions.
