F18 World Championship
|
| Nigrán (Pontevedra) - Spain |
| A World Championship is always a bit special. More so than with any other race, with the exception of the Olympic Games, the
pressure rises as the date of the first races approaches. Aboard their Formula 18 Nacra, Franck and Jérémie are no exception
to the rule.

In the Groupama yard, the small sports catamaran is pampered and meticulously prepared as has always been the case for the
boats associated with the company's skipper. During this time, the crew attends to business: examinations and expert appraisal
at PSA for Jérémie the engineer and further multihull races for Franck. Added to this it is necessary to maintain a perfect
physical condition in order to get the very best out of this little thoroughbred throughout the 15 races scheduled from 7th
to 11th July in Nigrán, to the south of Vigo in Spain, where over 300 participants are expected.
1,500 people including
competitors, their teams and the organisation will be taking part in this event; one of the largest coastal sailing events
this summer in Spain. Over 150 boats have already registered and this promises to be the greatest participation in a F18 World
Championship to date.
