Everything to play for

| For this third day of racing in Sète, the weather conditions were slightly different to those of yesterday. Indeed, though
the wind was still just as shifty, it did become stronger with every race.
|
In these conditions the leader in the general ranking, who had a very good start to the day, did in fact sail with less consistency,
winning three races but finishing 6th, 7th and 8th in the others.
Second in the provisional general ranking after
the 15 races contested over the past three days, The Wave Muscat pulled off a great performance today and is now just 4 points
down on Edmond de Rothschild Group, whilst keeping the same lead over Loïck Peyron at the helm of Oman Masirah.
Aboard
Groupama 40, the crew got off to a poor start when they were 7th across the finish line. However they cleaned up their act
later in the day with one race victory and several places in the middle of the leaderboard.
Fourth in the general
ranking with a 23 point deficit on the leader and 15 down on Oman, Franck Cammas and his crew are still very much on track
to make a stab for a podium place overall. However, to achieve this they will have to keep a close eye on Red Bull, ORC and
Ecover, who are just six to seven points behind.
Suffice to say that the final day will, as usual, be decisive,
with five or six races scheduled, the last of which will score double the points. Forecasts suggest that the racing will
be coloured by a wind in excess of twenty knots, which will most likely be just as irregular....
