A new scratch-time in Groupama 3's trophy bag

Miami - New York
Once again ! Franck Cammas and his crew win the second record of their 2007 campaign...
Setting off from Miami on Sunday 3d June at 11h31'20'' UT* to attempt to beat the time established by Steve Fossett in 2001 between Miami and New Cork, Groupama 3 crossed the finish line at Ambrose Lighthouse on Monday 4th June at 22h36'40'' UT, after 1 day 11 hours 05 minutes and 20 seconds at sea (race time subject to approval by the WSSRC - in process).

One month after their performance on the Columbus Route, Franck and his men steal a second scratch-time from Playstation's skipper. But above all, they improve Steve's record of 2 days 5 hours 54 minutes and 42 seconds by more than 18 hours. We take our hats off to you sirs!

Groupama 3 covered the 947 miles separating Miami from New York at the average speed of 27 knots, compared to an average of 17,57 for Playstation.
