Since  1997, Groupama and yachtsman Franck Cammas have been awarded the most impressive honours in competitive sailing. Groupama has put its insurance knowledge behind this human adventure, anchored in reality and eying the future.

Long committed to supporting local sports clubs, Groupama has gradually adapted its sponsorship policy.

Groupama and sailing: new challenges ahead!

After a 15-year partnership and an impressive list of honours, Groupama and Franck Cammas have set their sights on new challenges: single hulls and the mythic Volvo Ocean Race.

Groupama and Cammas: 15 years of success

Since   their first meeting in 1997, Groupama and Franck Cammas' history together is dotted with success stories: 3 mythic multi-hulls built together, 30 victories and 6 oceanic records including the 2010 Jules Verne Priz & the Route du Rhum Race. Thanks to the leadership talent and qualities of Franck Cammas, Groupama has become one of the most recognized players in the world of sailing. This partnership affords the Group a chance to demonstrate its risk-management capabilities and express its inclination for team performance and teamwork.
